20k?

Fair enough I suppose if you didn't brush your teeth in your 20's.

You've got to suspect this is some kind of dogging code.

Just having mine done at the moment, bottled it when considering going abroad. 9 implants, 2 dental implant bridges, 2 bone grafts, 2 sinus lifts, replace a crown and set of veneers £20,000. Reckon going abroad 12-15K

Was told I could have a brace at 12. Told them I couldn't give a fuck.

Brushed twice a day.

Been through 2 apicoectomies in my late 20's.

Second one left me looking like I'd properly upset Mike Tyson.

Since then floss and brush twice a day.

Far from perfect teeth yet far from repulsive. Second filling of my life last year.

Re: Having your teeth done abroad
I had a crown (5 teeth) fitted last year while I was working in the middle east. Cost about 2 bags UK (must whack the old insurance claim in some time).

It's 100% true about the repeat visits - I had 6 root canals done at the same time, which was done over several days, then the fittings for the crown - more than one because the dental technician was a real fussy sod. That was spread out over 2 weeks then an extra week for JIT manufacture and a couple of hours to fit it.

They're a shade whiter than my natural teeth on account that I was planning to have them whitened to match but haven't managed to find the time to do so.

Meant to be top class, put you up in a decent hotel and drive you to and from appointments etc.

Re: Having your teeth done abroad
It's important to get your teeth done in the style of the way your teeth would have been if they hadn't got fucked up in the first place. A good dentist can work this out and do some work which looks natural.

A colleague at work got his teeth done in Eastern Europe somewhere (maybe Bulgaria?) and they took out all his rotten old teeth and left him with a mouth full of what looks like white Lego bricks in perfect symmetry - which look completely wrong and a bit stupid.

Re: Having your teeth done abroad
the long and short is this, its a lot cheaper sometimes less than half the price, but its not a one visit job, if you cant afford to do at least 2 or 3 visits have it done over here, i had one tooth done in 2010 in london i was back and forwards about 5 or 6 times before it was all done and finished with, brilliant things though
